I love the list of ingredients, it is organic and contains only elderberry, echinacea, honey, water, acerola fruit extract, cultured dextrose and citric acid. My youngest had her allergies kick in and her throat was bothering and she started coughing. But with 5 children, I didn’t have to wait too long. I wanted to wait to review it until one of my children actually needed it. Thank you Social Nature for allowing us to try the Genexa Kid’s Honey Cough Syrup. I would recommend this drug free, gentle option for little ones. The product was very difficult to find, however, lots of items seems to be difficult to find these days. The clean, organic ingredients are very much a positive as we like to know and understand what is going in to our family. I do wish it came with an accurate dosage related measuring cup as there was none included. I feel this product would be excellent for more mild symptoms such as from allergies, the beginnings of a cold, etc but not as effective for more severe symptoms. She also gave this to our older grandson who said the taste was good and not too “medicine-y”.Īs far as their symptoms, it did seem to temporarily ease the scratchiness and quiet the cough somewhat, though not completely. This is coming from a kid that HATES any and all medicines so that’s a win.
